Welcome to the Lake Forest Kennel Club! Thank you for considering us for your four-legged friend’s needs! For all new pets we require both the Enrollment Application and Policy Agreement to be filled out to completion, signed and on file prior to receiving any services. We also require that you include a copy of your pet's most recent vaccine records. Every pet participating in daycare is required to go through an evaluation. Receive 5 FREE hours of daycare your 1st visit! Contact us to make an appointment!
Prior to appointment or reservation date(s), all dogs are required to be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and D/H/L/P vaccinations. Cats require rabies, feline leukemia, and FVRCP vaccinations. Pets will not be permitted to stay if required vaccines are expired. Please include the most current vaccination record from your vet's office with your pet's Enrollment and Policies Packets. All pets MUST be healthy for the last 14 days prior to boarding, daycare or grooming. Any pet that is actively vomiting, having diarrhea, has recently started a new medication for seizures or is currently on medication for vomiting or diarrhea symptoms is NOT eligible to board at our facility. Any pet(s) older than 10 years of age should receive a wellness check at their primary veterinary clinic the week of boarding to make sure the pet is healthy enough for a boarding stay. Pets that are unwell upon check-in will not be permitted to stay for boarding, daycare or grooming.
All canine guests are required to have the following vaccinations:
· H3N2 *Not required, however it is recommended during high volume boarding periods*
All feline guests are required to have the following vaccinations:
· Feline Leukemia *Not required for indoor cats, however it is recommended during high volume boarding periods*
Pets who are no longer "eligible" to receive certain vaccines due to age, allergy, etc. must show proof from their veterinarian with a written and signed letter by their DVM.
Lake Forest Kennel Club reserves the right to refuse any services for pets that do not meet vaccine or health safety requirements.
